By downloading, installing, or using Spondr ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Spondr is a native desktop email client for Linux developed by Stepmatic LLC. The App connects to your Gmail account via the Gmail API to provide email management functionality including reading, composing, searching, and organizing email.
3. User Accounts
To use Spondr, you must have a valid Google account with Gmail. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of Stepmatic LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Stepmatic LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of your use or inability to use the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
